Five for Friday {Linky Party…August 7th}

Saturday the four of us who organized the Books for Batesville Book Drive met up and delivered the books that so many of YOU donated to the kindergarten and pre-k teachers in Batesville, Mississippi. The local elementary school lost all 15 of their kindergarten classes and 2 pre-k classes in a fire last month.

Thank you so much to anyone who bought and donated a book {or several} and to anyone who shared our facebook posts asking for help. We collected over 1,000 brand new books for these teachers!

I went back to school Thursday and have been spending all week buried under scraps of paper. This is a little sneak peak of my back to school bulletin board and door. I’ll be back next week with finished pictures! Stay tuned…

I was also given my class list on Thursday so I spent all Thursday afternoon printing labels, labels, labels and … MORE LABELS! Whew what a chore! And I just KNOW that someone new will be added to the list just as soon as I am finished labeling everything! HA!

My kiddos come Monday so I am hoping for some rest this weekend!
