Birthday Treats

One of the things I always take care of  before school starts are my birthday treats for my students. It is so nice to have these done and stored away and not have to worry about getting things together the day before {or the day of} a classroom birthday.

{You can see a picture of the what I did last year and the year before.}

This year I bought this big bag of skittles at Sam’s. I printed tags {you can download the tags here.} And, I used little clear pillow boxes.

008

I printed my Happy Birthday tags on labels- but you could easily just tape them on. I all ready had my pillow boxes. They are “around 2 1/2 x 3 inches. {amazon link}

I filled up 15 of the pillow boxes and had at least 1/2 of this big bag left.. you might can get away with buying the smaller bag at places like Walmart. {or buy the individual snack size bags}.

I also had some small ziplock bags that would work perfect. These are much cheaper than the little pillow boxes. {amazon link}

006

I will store these in a plastic box that has a lid to keep them fresh all year {and out of sight of little eyes}.
